About
Pauline Vromans is an intercultural trainer, researcher and educator. Pauline holds a Ph.D. in developing intercultural competence from Radboud University, Nijmegen, a M.Sc. in Human Resource Studies from University of Tilburg and a M.Sc. in Culture, Organization and Management from the Vrije University, Amsterdam.
Through her company, Intercultural Minds, Pauline designs and facilitates intercultural programs for individuals and teams, and provides research-driven intercultural consulting. Pauline has designed and implemented COIL courses for various programs at the University of Amsterdam, and teaches intercultural skills courses for Bachelor and Master programs. She has initiated several intercultural projects, such as “Feeling at Home in the Netherlands” workshops, international student support, and intercultural awareness workshops for social mentors, lecturers, and researchers at higher education institutions.
Pauline is from the Netherlands but grew up in the Canary Islands, Madrid and Switzerland. In the last twenty years, she has lived and worked/studied in Mexico, Costa Rica, Australia, and the USA. She now lives in Amsterdam with her Dutch-Mexican family.
