Josie (Mengmeng) Jiang is a passionate educator, intercultural practitioner, and lifelong learner with over a decade of experience spanning K–12, post-secondary, and consulting sectors. She currently serves as Senior Manager of the International Student Program at Comox Valley Schools and as Associate Faculty at Royal Roads University, where she teaches in the MA in Intercultural and International Communication program.
Originally from Mainland China and now based in BC, Canada, Josie holds an MA in Intercultural and International Communication from Royal Roads University and an MEd in TESOL from Queensland University of Technology in Australia. She is a certified IDI® Qualified Administrator, SDI® Facilitator, and Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation. As an executive coach and consultant specializing in intercultural development, she has supported organizations across sectors in building inclusive, culturally responsive environments.
Josie is known for her ability to connect across cultures and disciplines, and for her commitment to fostering belonging in both local and global contexts. Whether mentoring emerging professionals, leading community workshops, or presenting at national conferences, she brings authenticity, curiosity, and a deep respect for diverse perspectives. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring Vancouver Island’s natural beauty and volunteering with organizations that reflect her values of justice and inclusion.
