Dr. Rafael Reyes III, a seasoned scholar and administrator, currently serves as Senior Advisor for Flourishing and Belonging at Columbia Theological Seminary. He brings a wealth of experience in theological education and community engagement. His career is marked by a commitment to fostering intellectual curiosity, promoting diversity and inclusion, and empowering students to become successful leaders. Most recently, he served as the Graduate Director for Student Life and Community Engagement at Yeshiva University’s Katz School of Science and Health.
Dr. Reyes has held teaching positions at several institutions, including New York Theological Seminary, the University of San Diego, and New Theological Seminary of the West. He has also served as Adjunct Faculty at Marist University and Yeshiva University. His academic background includes a PhD in Religion from Claremont School of Theology and master’s degrees from Claremont, Drew University, New York Theological Seminary, and Alliance Theological Seminary.
