As a father of two and grandfather of two, I am convinced that the most meaningful journeys are the ones we take together. Every day, I ask myself and others: "What kind of ancestor will you be?" Because how we show up—for ourselves and for each other—shapes the world we leave behind.
Through Collective Journeys LLC, I guide individuals and organizations in creating spaces of belonging, trust, and well-being. With over 30 years of experience in museum leadership, inclusion work, and public history, I help people navigate difficult conversations, complex histories, and personal growth so they can build something real and lasting.
But doing this work—showing up for others—means we also have to show up for ourselves. We can’t build connection, trust, or transformation if we’re running on empty or harmful stories we tell ourselves. That’s why my work is about leading with care, strengthening relationships, and helping communities heal and grow—without losing ourselves in the process. When we commit to this journey with honesty and intention, we don’t just change organizations—we change lives.
