About

Bringing over 20 years of experience, Paul is a seasoned executive leader, coach, consultant, facilitator and training designer, with an extensive knowledge base in the areas of leadership, team building, leveraging diversity, equity, and inclusion, and equal employment opportunity compliance. With his excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, he is sought after for his ability to lead and implement large group training interventions, as well as for his subject matter expertise, engaging presentation skills and his ability to build strong relationships with clients around the globe. As an internal consultant for the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute (DEOMI) in Cocoa Beach, Florida, Paul served as the Deputy Director of External Training. In this role he managed the International Training Directorate which provided international consulting and in-resident instruction to international students. He represented the United States in the first-ever Mobile Education and Training Team visit to the Republic of South Africa to provide equal opportunity program training for the South African National Defense Force and Federal Police Force. He served as DEOMI’s subject matter expert on affirmative action and gender integration. Paul played an active role in dismantling combat exclusion regulations that limited the role of women in the US military. As a result of this work, women can now serve in any career field in the US military. Paul has developed and delivered leadership, management, team building, leveraging inclusion and EEO compliance training in companies around the world. He has partnered with organizations to enhance all aspects of talent management to include recruiting, hiring, engagement, development and retention. His systems approach to enhancing leadership and management has yielded increased organizational effectiveness to hundreds of clients on six continents. Paul received his M.S. in Management from the Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, Florida, and his B.S. in Agricultural Engineering from Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. Paul also has his Basic Mediation and Community Conflict Intervention certification from the Centre for Conflict Resolution in Cape Town, Republic of South Africa. He is a certified administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI), an instrument designed to measure an individual’s orientation to difference. This instrument can assist in developing the skills of inclusion. Paul is also a Predictive Index partner offering the Talent Optimization suite of software to assist organizations in making data driven talent management decisions. Paul is committed to achieving outstanding organizational results through fostering understanding, inclusion and respect for human dignity. He participates in Race Relay, a monthly discussion group on the status of race relations in the greater Los Angeles community. Paul has been involved in the Building Inclusive Communities program offered by the National Conference for Community and Justice. As a husband and father, he is dedicated to living a life of balance, excelling and finding fulfillment in both his personal and professional lives.
