Rhonda Mower is an enthusiastic collaborator with leaders and their teams to co-create high performance cultures.
She serves as SVP of Special Initiatives at the National Office of Volunteers of America – a national nonprofit headquartered in the Washington DC area. A life-long learner, she is an IDI Certified Administrator, and she has attained SHRM-SCP and SPHR certification. Rhonda has also earned a Master of Science in Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness, a certificate in Strategies for Trauma Awareness and Resilience (S.T.A.R.), and a certificate in Executive Leadership. She is in the process of becoming a certified mediator.
For over 15 years she has worked with nonprofit and corporate leaders to drive success and attract, retain and develop top talent. Active in the community, she serves on the Board of Directors for Change Machine. Previously, she served as President of the DC Human Resources Leadership Forum, an Advisor to the Board of NOVA SHRM, and a pattern-changing Coach for survivors of domestic violence for ACTS/Turning Points.
A sought-after expert, she speaks on successfully advancing strategic change in multi-site, complex organizations.
