With over a decade of experience in student affairs, I am passionate about creating and facilitating inclusive and restorative practices that enhance the learning and development of people from diverse backgrounds and identities. As the Assistant Director for Student Support and Development at the University of Michigan, I oversee the assessment and evaluation processes, fostering partnerships and collaborating with university stakeholders for K-20 programs, committed to promoting access, belonging, engagement, and success for students ranging from kindergarteners to PhD candidates As a mentor, advisor, and supervisor, my role involves leading teams and individuals in providing peer support and education to the community. Topics covered include wellness, conflict resolution, community engagement, and social justice. My aim is to foster a sense of belonging and empowerment among community members while preparing them for their future careers and roles in society. I hold certifications as an IDI Qualified Administrator and an Asana Certificate holder, and have been recognized with multiple awards for my outstanding contributions to student affairs.
