About

My passion is inspiring awareness to ignite action in both organizations and individuals. I especially love coaching on hiring, supervising, mentoring, and sponsoring people outside of dominant in-groups. Three specific experiences power my success in this area: 1. My work as an adjunct instructor teaching graduate level Supervision at DePaul University (Chicago, USA) and All Hallows College (Dublin, Ireland), which were both international by design, provide a strong foundation for looking at systems, processes, and people through a multicultural lens to ensure fairness in career development. 2. My training and practice with the IDI has informed my approach to be one of accompanying people as they do the work of intentional learning, immersion/practice, and, most importantly, reflection. Many of the individuals with whom I have worked have not yet taken the opportunity to explore their own cultural lens. When we do this work, it is like a dam opening, allowing a depth of personal and interpersonal awareness that was not yet tapped. 3. My clients appreciate the way I challenge them from a place of curiosity over judgment. They compliment the way my questions draw out critical, and sometimes well-buried, information with ease. I developed the skills of intuitive listening, empowering questioning, personal detachment, and more through my training as a Certified Professional Diversity Coach through CoachDiversity Institute, which is accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). I am also a Gold Status Tiara International Certified Coach.
