About

I have several years of experience doing diversity and inclusion work with multiple populations and organizations at all levels. As an advocate, I have dedicated my work to supporting the needs of historically marginalized communities through retention initiatives, leadership development, identity formation, and mentoring. As a diversity and inclusion educator, I have led several strategic diversity and inclusion initiatives, implemented small and large-scale cultural awareness programs, facilitated dialogues and workshops around social justice, and provided educational trainings for diverse groups on intercultural competence. I have an in depth knowledge about issues surrounding race and racism and how institutionalized oppression creates barriers for marginalized communities in their pursuit of excellence.
